On June 7th an AFE team arrived in Dar es Salaam for a week long on site visit to the Organia chicken farm in Kibaha, Pwani region, 35 km west of the administrative capital. The team, consisting of Anne Laleman and Matt Cawley, is there to gather the necessary information to complete the feasibility study for a pioneering 100kW wind turbine. Construction on the 400 hectare site is still ongoing, with 40% completed today. The first delivery of grandparent stock from Aviagen, based in Scotland, expected for early 2016.
