Alpha-Financials Environmental will be speaking at at the ADBA Exposition at Birmingham’s NEC on 2 July. Anne Laleman will be discussing the various aspects to developing a successful business plan for a feasible AD plant from 11:00-11:55 on the second day of the exhibition in the purple seminar. Having written/appraised many hundreds of business plans, including several funded by WRAP, AFE is well placed to share their experiences with you. The session takes the format of a five minute introduction by each of the panel members including Cath Anthony (Bidwells LLP) and Sonya Bedford (Stephen Scown LLP), followed by an open discussion to which all are invited. AFE believes that feedstock remains the most important ingredient of a successful business plan and are concerned about the lack of reduction in capex which does not match the ever declining FiTs. Many AD projects, in particular smaller sized ones, like 250kWs, see their IRR plummet to levels that have become unacceptable to outside investors once the RHI is removed. Visit stand P191 on either 1 or 2 July for more information.
